News from our Care Enough Program

Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas, June 19th, 2009

"In the month of May a large set of patio toys and games was installed in "Valle Feliz" for the children to enjoy during the summer months. The sand box is the favorite so far, along with the beauty saloon and big green wagon".

Marketing Manager

"On May 24th (Ecuador's National Flag Day) "Semillitas de Dios" school had its official program for the 7th grade students to honor our national flag.

After this ceremony, I visited the new second floor classroom that was built with the donations from our Care Enough program; this room is also used as the auditorium for events at the school.

A memorable day indeed!".

For 2009/10 all of Samai Products are Kosher Pareve by Adjut Kosher Israel (AK)

As a tradition now,  all our SAMAI products may be consumed by the Jewish community around the world.
SAMAI, being an all natural snack, has been Kosher Pareve certified by Adjut Kosher Israel (AK), under the supervision of Rabbi Daniel Oppenheimer from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

We had our yearly supervision in early May 2009, and having all our processes in compliance with the Kosher regulations, we were certified for all our flavors and products:
- SAMAI Plantain Chips: Pacific Sea Salt, Naturally Sweet, Jungle Chili, Garlic
- SAMAI Tropical Vegetable Chips with Pacific Sea Salt
- SAMAI Cassava Chips: Pacific Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Jungle Chili, Garlic
- SAMAI Green Banana Chips, Salted
More over, for all our customers of private label, we are happy to announce we can also certify their brands and products produced at our facility, provided the flavors requested comply with the Kosher regulations.

Kosher (literally "ritually acceptable") foods are those that conform to Jewish dietary laws. Foods that contain no dairy or meat content are known as parev (also spelled pareve). Examples may be most drinks, all fruit, and raw vegetables.

What can be better than a healthy veggie crisped with all the flavor of the Pacific?
